There are multiple supported methods of for deploying Black Duck components on Google Cloud Platform.
For smaller deployments or to get started quickly, you can deploy Black Duck can be deployed into on a Compute Engine VM from the GCP Marketplace. To take full advantage of Black Duck's containerized architecture and to simplify scaling and version upgrades, we recommend deploying Synopsys recommends that you deploy Black Duck to GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
Regardless of how you deploy Black Duck, note that Black Duck on GCP leverages a bring-your-own-license (BYOL) model, and is available for customers with valid purchased licenses. If you do not currently have a license, contact our sales team to request a license.
