Deploying Black Duck on Google Cloud Platform

There are multiple supported methods for deploying Black Duck components on Google Cloud Platform.

For smaller deployments or to get started quickly, you can deploy Black Duck on a Compute Engine VM from the GCP Marketplace.  To take full advantage of Black Duck's containerized architecture and to simplify scaling and version upgrades, Synopsys recommends that you deploy Black Duck to GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).

Regardless of how you deploy Black Duck, Black Duck on GCP leverages a bring-your-own-license (BYOL) model, and is available for customers with valid purchased licenses. If you do not have a license, contact our sales team to request a license.
